An awesome opportunity is an awesome chance to derive some sort of benefit. Things that clearly fit this:

✌️ Openings for exclusive experiences like fellowships,
✍️ Grant/scholarship/funding rounds.
Workshops/trainings/conferences can also count especially when you are offering scholarships/subsidies to certain participants, or early-bird tickets. If you are promoting something like this, please make it clear what the opportunity is.
Sharing a campaign ask, an article, or self-promotion, is very likely not to be an awesome opportunity.

If we can all keep this group focused on ‘awesome opportunities’ then we can make sure to keep it useful and valuable for people wanting to promote, or learn about these things.

Spud’s Thoughts:
I love this group, and I often find lots of new orgs that I wasn’t aware of. It tends to focus mostly on opportunities in Australia but as more people join the group, the scope has widened. This is definitely a good space to keep an eye on if you are looking for jobs or internships.
