The Mycelium organization is a learning community that hosts experiments in education, works to support the evolution of the entire field of education and cultivates a network of change agents. They create experiences that engage, nourish and weave a living, learning network for social transformation. They collaborate with many amazing individuals and organizations that are a part of this emerging ecosystem in education and that are also dedicated to having a positive influence in the world.
One of the primary ways individuals can participate in Mycelium is through their facilitated Learning Journeys. A Mycelium Learning Journey is a 12-week program that gives you the structure, accountability and community of support you need to align your personal and professional goals. Through these programs, their global network, and consulting agency, we open up new pathways for change-makers & business leaders to affect the world. They also run a variety of other programs and events throughout the year – from pilgrimage walks across Spain to to gatherings focused on hosting transformative education spaces to retreats in Costa Rica that weave the intersection between spirituality and social change.

The crew behind Mycelium is always cranking out new programming that is pushing the edges on learning. One of the things I appreciate most is that they are incredibly fluid and nimble in the way they respond to social justice needs in the world from an education and community perspective. This is another one of those groups that I like to simply hang out around because the folks they are bringing together always inspire me.
