The Art of Hosting is a facilitation style and community of practice dedicated to hosting more meaningful conversations. The Art of Hosting is a highly effective way of harnessing the collective wisdom and self-organizing capacity of groups of any size. Based on the assumption that people give their energy and lend their resources to what matters most to them – in work as in life – the Art of Hosting blends a suite of powerful conversational processes to invite people to step in and take charge of the challenges facing them.
Art of Hosting Gatherings are held around the world and teach participants a few core practices – including World Cafe, Open Space, Four-Fold Practice, and many others – that can serve as the foundation for your facilitation and leadership practice. Art of Hosting has been adapted for a wide-range of contexts, from strategic planning on a governmental and corporate level, to sourcing new solutions around pressing problems in a community.
