What happens when you combine community, DIY-education, play, and nature into one soul-packed weekend? A transformative experience unlike any other.
At Greenermind you’ll meet mission-driven people from diverse backgrounds. We are entrepreneurs, educators, designers, nonprofit leaders, corporate managers, scientists, artists, investors, policy experts, and front-line activists. We are a community (based primarily in the Bay Area) that makes space to nourish ourselves so that we have the energy and inspiration to better nourish the world.
At Greenermind, your experience is exactly what you make it. You can dive into facilitated activities or relish unstructured time, reconnecting through reflection and play. The entire experience is sourced from the community: you’re invited to create a workshop, lead a hike, or bring anything you’d like to share.
Is there a talent show? Yup. Do we make music around the campfire? Yup. Can you learn about the latest strategies for expanding sustainability, social justice, and self-actualization across the globe? Duh – it wouldn’t be Greenermind without some serious nerding out. Together, we exchange practices to create a thriving world.

Some of my favorite gatherings have been the informal / unconference style events where you simply have time to laugh and go on walks with others who understand your lingo and interest in creating change. I haven’t been to this gathering itself, but it was sent to me through a listserve I’m a part of that has some great opportunities.
