You’ll regularly find events, workshops, festivals, meetings, and spontaneous interactions. Our vision is for each of us – young and old – to be inspired, try new things, learn from each other, and expand our imaginations.
We created JUMP as a place for everyone to discover new possibilities and explore their potential. This takes gumption, a combination of vision and courage. JUMP is an invitation to look at things in new ways, including ourselves, and to try things for the first time. JUMP is our underlying metaphor since “to jump” is to part with stability (leaving the ground beneath our feet) and experience something new. When we JUMP we expand our lives, enrich our communities, and push the human story forward.
Spud’s Thoughts:
I was chatting with a friend in State College, PA about how we would love to have a downtown hub for creativity, innovation and play. For so many small towns – and in our case, a university town – we get easily labeled. In our case, we are a town for partying and football. But there is so much more to this community that very few know about. That’s when my friend shared about JUMP and how this space transformed her connection and understanding of Boise. It’s amazing what one space can do for a town – I hope to one day be able to go visit!
