Overview:

The Unreasonable Accelerator are customized programs located all over the world that swarm resources around ventures tackling our world’s biggest social and environmental problems. They unite entrepreneurs with the potential to address major problems at scale. Problems like poverty, lack of education, and access to clean water. We then swarm them with hand-picked mentors, funders, and a global network to help grow their impact. Their goal? For each venture to impact 1,000,000 people.

Spud’s Thoughts:

The Unreasonable team have been a staple in the social impact space for the last few years. They were one of the first groups to garner a lot of excitement and energy around incubating a community for social entrepreneurs – and it started largely from a few friends who just wanted to do something about the need they saw for such a community. The thing I appreciate most about Unreasonable is their honest commitment to letting their fans and partners know where they feel they are succeeding and having impact, but more importantly, where they’ve failed and could do better. They are incredibly nimble and aren’t afraid to pivot their model to ensure they can have the biggest impact. If you have a social enterprise you are working on and want to scale your impact, definitely apply to their programs!
